26 Quick Healthy Adrenal Fatigue Snacks

To a lot of people the word snack may sound like a bad word. But as you can read on our diet page and in our Adrenal Fatigue Recipes e-Book, eating the right snacks can be very helpful. Eating healthy snacks can help you with weight control, boost energy, curb cravings for unhealthy foods and it speeds up your metabolism.

It’s important to eat regularly (every 2-3 hours) during the day to keep your blood sugar levels balanced, especially if you live an active lifestyle. What you snack on is important, but when you are on the road it’s sometimes easier to reach for a sugary snack or other nutrient-void foods that do your body more harm than good. Because we know it’s not easy to come up with healthy snack ideas, we have listed 26 healthy snack ideas below to give you some inspiration. Try these out yourself and if you have any snack ideas, write them down in the comments section and we will make sure to add those to our list!

Can we eat a sprouted grain bread with nut butter?

Hi, thanks for your comment. Personally I’d like to minimize my intake of grains. Although sometimes I do like to eat some bread, I guess old habits die hard. But yes, it’s OK to eat sprouted grain bread with nut butter. Just feel how your body responds to eating certain kinds of food. Stay away from sugar, highly processed foods, minimize or cut out coffee/ alcoholic beverages…
